 Looks aren't everything. The lock seems cheesy.

The finger hole is good, but I'm worried about what's going to happen the first time I have to take it apart. The lock is a bit too wobbly for my taste. Other than that, decent pocketknife.

Decent knife for money

I am a correctional officer. I carry this knife on my off duty hours. It is a good all round knife.
The blade however is softer than hoped (during sharpening). I like the design, however a stronger blade material is needed, for my next purchase

I work on a farm and let me tell you, I use this knife probably 30 times a day for god knows what. I love the feel and handling of this knife and I'd buy another if this one broke! Great buy!

razor sharp and you wont find a more interesting grip anywhere. gives you a firm hold, will never worry about my hand sliding onto the blade again

Great knife for the money

Feels really solid. Very sharp. Grips very well. Mine was a bit tough to open/close out of the package, but a bit of lube (ballistol) and it now opens in a flash and closes just right. Not sure how the other guy could cut his thumb. My hands are normal size, and my thumb stays on the unlocking bar during closing. If I lose it, I'd buy another. And it won't be my last Gerber. I think it's a great quality knife for the price range.

 To Many Holes

The knife feels great in my hand and looks good to but when I close the knife I have to be really careful not to cut my thumb through the handle. The holes in the handle are way to large, someone with small thumbs could easily loose the ends of them. I would skip and choose a different Gerber.

Though it is true that the good looks of this knife pulled me in, i soon discovered flaws in the knife. One being that it doesn't feel natural in my hand, rather it sort of cuts into my palm when i hold it. Another being that the knife has no lock to keep it closed, which could prove dangerous once i oil up the slow-to-open/close blade hinge. All in all, its definitely an attractive knife, but i would pick a different one, such as one in the AR series.
