this knife is an overall the greatest knife i have ever had. after a few weeks the top broke off bit it was mostly my fault. The tips do seem like they are prone to brake

This knife is very nice! I used it during a camping trip the day I got it. It sharpened sticks for marshmallows nicely. It is light and comfortable to carry. I have other, more expensive, knives that stay home because they are heavy and bulky. I recommend this knife to anyone. Take the money you would have spent on a more expensive knife and buy a few stakes for the grill.

I just picked up this knife today.I am very knowledgeable about knives and knife materials. I have never been happier with the overall quality of this particular knife. The serrated edge is super sharp and looks pretty easy to sharpen. I wish the sheath was molded, but the design of the sheath is slimline-- nylon is durable after all. The weight sets nice in the hand and I prefer reverse grip which also feels comfortable. The blade runs the full length of the knife and is thick enough to take abuse. The only other things I can tell you are: The price is good here, I paid almost $45 for the same knife. The other thing is.......have fun.

I picked up this knife about six months ago and so far am very pleased with it. Quality seems equal or superior to that of many more expensive knives. Very durable, super sharp blade. (good blade thickness too) Takes a beating! Excellent size, weight and balance for camping, survival and general outdoor needs, although the sheath could be a bit more heavy duty. I spend alot of time outdoors and would recommend this knife to anyone looking for a great knife at at great price. - Nice work Gerber!

One of my favorite knives! I have a lot of knives that I can choose from when I go out on adventures. I ALWAYS bring this knife along with me. Just today I chipped through 9" of ice for ice fishing (forgot my auger). I use it to cut down 8" trees for my fire. This knife feels good in my hand, which is hard since I have banana hands (I'm 6'4") It has a comfortable grip and I love the lanyard loop so I don't lose it when I'm in the water. I would recommend this knife to anybody who camps/fishes/ even bowls!!!! Can't beat if for the price. You're right, I wish it had a moulded sheath but it's not too bad. 10/10
