Most reliable assisted opener out there. 03/08/2008 Reviewer: Al I have dozens of assisted opening knives in my collection, and the mechanism that fires the blade in this one is done so by an actual coil spring. Very reliable, and built like a tank. I work as a deckhand on a freighter and I have given this thing a real beating; it still works just like it did the day i bought (though it coud use a sharpening...) Great buy. Highly recommend it.
