If Gerber had settled for making just one version of the Paraframe knife, people might have been content. Because this reputable example of framelock design caught on admirably among knife lovers...making the Paraframe a mainstay of the industry. But we figured there''''''''s no merit in being stingy, so we worked up a total of eight versions. And the people were pleased.

There is a simplicity to this knife that relates as much to function as it does to form. It''''''''s a breeze to open. The clip point blade configuration is ideal for cutting in close quarters. Openness rules the day where the handle is concerned—there''''''''s more air than metal—so it''''''''s quite lightweight and quite easy to keep clean.

Clip a Paraframe into your pocket, and you''''''''re fully equipped to take care of business. Your only challenge is figuring out which one...

This is one of those knives that you never leave home without. I always have mine in my pocket and can almost forget it, its not huge, but gets almost every possible job done that I come across. Very durable and sharp. Mine has been repeatedly dropped and throw and has yet to come loose. Perfect urban companion!

This knife is amazing. When folded its about the size of your thumb. But its one durable little thing. It will live through almost anything. As for the review that says it fell apart, all i can say is, it probably lost a screw or something.

WOW, what a surprise! I knew when I bought it that is was a budget price knife, but it is still a Gerber! Within 1 month, being used probably 5-10 times to basically cut tape I reached in and pulled out my Paraframe and it totally blew apart in my hand. The blade hinge bolster was totally missing, gone. I ended up with a frame, a blade and 2-3 little nylon bushings. Not cool.

I bought this knife yesterday, and used it a lot already. It's very handy, and is very useful. It's a must-get for everyday, "oh I need to open this," knife.
